Biography

Alberto Antonio Dandolo si laurea presso il DAMS dell’Università di Roma Tre nell’indirizzo Regista Programmista Cinema e Televisione. Ha collaborato con la Fondazione Romaeuropa, con il Consorzio GARR - Network Humanitatis, con il Di.Co.Spe. (Dipartimento Comunicazione e Spettacolo Università di Roma Tre) realizzando diversi progetti audiovisivi e di ricerca. Nel 2009 fonda l’Associazione Culturale Mimesi’S per la promozione del cinema e del teatro indipendente. Nel 2010 è stato consulente alle ricerche, sviluppo e realizzazione di audiovisivi presso il MAE  (Ministero degli Affari Esteri) Multimedia di Roma. Strade di casa, il suo primo lungometraggio, ha ricevuto diversi riconoscimenti in numerosi festival italiani ed è stato candidato come miglior film documentario al prestigioso Premio Libero Bizzarri. Attualmente sta lavorando indipendentemente al progetto documentario "The Cuban wives".

Alberto Antonio Dandolo graduated from Roma Tre University in DAMS (Arts, Music and Performing Arts) specializing in Directing for Cinema and Television. He has collaborated with: the Romaeuropa Foundation, the GARR Consortium (Italian Research and Education Network) witihn the Network Humanitatis Conference, Di.Co.Spe. (Department of Communication and Performing Arts of Roma Tre University) conducting research and directing numerous audiovisual projects. In 2009 he founded the Cultural Association Mimesi’S  for the promotion of independent cinema and theatre. In 2010 he worked as an audio-visual project director in the MAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Multimedia in Rome. Strade di Casa, his first full length film has received many prizes in italian film festivals, and was selected as best documentary film for the Libero Bizzarri Prize. Currently, he is working independently to the documentary film “The Cuban wives”.
